Thank goodness I married a lumber jack (well not literally though). He slaves away all summer long chopping wood to keep us warm all winter.
Not only does it supply heat but I also like to sit and look at the fire.
It's cozy. I love the smell of burning wood. Oh and Harrison likes to look at it also......it's baby gate time!!!
One of the perks of winter. Having it be cold enough inside to get an intensely warm wood fire going on in the inside. Which makes me miss something we had in the past.......a wood burning fireplace! Hopefully, there will be one in our future. In the meantime, we can enjoy it, occasionally at your house!
